Bad Urach Residential Palace
This former royal residence is located in the heart of Bad Urach's historical town centre. The Residential Palace's interior rooms, such as the Knights' Hall (Late Gothic), the Palm Hall with frescos documenting the noble lineage of Count Eberhard V of Württemberg, the Golden Hall (Renaissance) and the White Hall (Baroque) are of particular interest for the history of the region and its art.
An exhibition of twenty-two magnificent carved and gilded sleighs from the collection of the Württemberg State Museum in Stuttgart recalls the splendour of life at the royal court of Württemberg in the Baroque era during the reign of Duke Carl Eugen of Württemberg (1744-1793).
