Engelberg Tower Leonberg

The Engelberg Tower is Leonberg's landmark. After climbing its 123 steps you'll be rewarded with a wonderful view from the platform on the fifth floor!

The tower was built in 1928 as a water reservoir and observation tower. The construction of the overhead water tank was necessary for the laying out of the golf course and made it possible to develop the slopes of the Engelberg for building purposes. It has not been used as a water reservoir since 1982.
