Museum of Prehistoric Man

On an exhibition area of some 400 square metres, the Museum of Prehistoric Man in the town of Steinheim an der Murr documents in a concise form the physical and mental development of humanity.

Within this context, the museum illustrates the significance of the Steinheim Prehistoric Man and elucidates his geological and biographical environment. A slide show and also pictures and models of large mammals enhance the tour, while the selection of written works available offers more in-depth information on the various topics.
