Oil Mill Jäger
Around the turn of the century, Marbach am Neckar was a centre of the oil milling trade with three oil mills. In 1906 the oil miller Friedrich Jäger installed the region's first electrically powered oil mill in his house (built in 1706) – now a visitor attraction. In 1993/94 it was restored as an industrial heritage monument and opened to the public. Today it is the region's only historical oil mill that is still fully operational.
