Scharnhauser Park
In the settlement zone of the Scharnhauser Park you can admire award-winning 21st-century architecture – such as the asymmetrical town hall with a grove of trees, the brick school with sports hall, the curving House for Children or the "Landscape Staircase" – a 1.4-kilometre-long park consisting of areas of meadow linked by white steps, with a view of the Swabian Alb over its entire length.
The "Bürgergärten" – public gardens with a host of attractions – are a reminder of the state horticultural show held on this site in 2002. Children's playgrounds, rose beds, a Bible Garden and lots more besides make the Scharnhauser Park an appealing place for the whole family.
