Seitenbachmühle (Mill Shop) Waldenbuch

It was Willi Pfannenschwarz, a native of Waldenbuch, who invented the very first convenience muesli mix. The "Seitenbacher" production plant is located in Buchen in the Odenwald region, but the company takes its name from the Seitenbach stream in Waldenbuch, where Willi Schwarzenbach's parents' mill stands. His special mix is still one of the 43 different Seitenbacher mueslis produced today, which are on sale at the Seitenbach mill shop in Waldenbuch, along with flour, cereals, Seitenbacher noodles, oils and the mill's own bread mixes. Also available are tinned meats and sausages made of pork and venison (only in the Christmas season) from home-bred animals.
