Show and training orchard

The orchard is open to garden enthusiasts all year round. Visitors are welcome to look around on their own and entry is free of charge. Information boards provide orientation and describe the various plants; in particular they also discuss the history of how the space under the trees in the meadow orchards was used. There is also a healing plant and herb area laid out to resemble a traditional regional farmer's garden.

Experts in environmental education regularly offer workshops. Please see the events diary at www.badurach-tourismus.de for a schedule.

The easiest way to access the orchard is on foot from the Bad Urach Kurzentrum (with nearby railway station and car park) and to follow the signs for the "Obst- und Gartenbauverein". It is a ten-minute walk.
