Stadtgarten Böblingen (Municipal Park)

Two lakes in the heart of Böblingen form the core of the municipal park, which was laid out for the state horticultural show of 1996 and has received many prestigious design awards. The park covers an area of more than 21 hectares around the upper and lower lakes.

Its outstanding features are its cascades and fountains. In addition to boating, games, inline skating and pleasant walks, the Stadtgarten Böblingen offers a varied programme of culture from June to September with the "Sommer am See" summer series of events. Around the park there are lots of inviting restaurants, beer gardens and cafés.
